{"id":37639,"date":"2011-01-14T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2011-01-14T06:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/newsroom\/2011\/01\/14\/access-your-w-2-on-firefly\/"},"modified":"2011-01-14T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2011-01-14T06:00:00","slug":"access-your-w-2-on-firefly","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/newsroom\/2011\/01\/14\/access-your-w-2-on-firefly\/","title":{"rendered":"Access your W-2 on Firefly"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"panel body-content\"><div class=\"panel__container\"><p>Get a jump start on your tax forms by accessing a copy of your W-2 through the Firefly website.<\/p>\n<p><TABLE border=\"0\" width=\"260\" cellspacing=\"5\" cellpadding=\"3\" align=\"right\"><br \/>\n<TR><br \/>\n<TD><br \/>\n<TABLE border=\"1\" width=\"250\" cellspacing=\"1\" cellpadding=\"5\" bgcolor=\"EAE4A9\"><br \/>\n<TR><br \/>\n<TD><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">\n<font face=\"arial\"><br \/>\n<B><br \/>\nFor more information<br \/>\n<\/B><br \/>\n<BR><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">\n<font face=\"arial\" size=\"2\"><br \/>\nContact UNMC Payroll Office at 559-7460 if you have questions about your W-2 or need a copy of a previous year&#8217;s information.<br \/>\n<\/P><br \/>\n<\/FONT><br \/>\n<\/TD><br \/>\n<\/TR><br \/>\n<\/TABLE><br \/>\n<\/TD><br \/>\n<\/TR><br \/>\n<\/TABLE>Employees are able to display and print their 2010 W-2 information before the printed form is distributed.  <\/p>\n<p>To access your W-2:<br \/>\n<UL><LI>Logon to your Firefly account and click the <B>Employee Self Service<\/B> option;<br \/>\n<LI>Scroll down to the <B>Payment<\/B> section and select the <B>Employee 2010 W-2<\/B> option; and<br \/>\n<LI>On W-2 screen, click the <B>(Options)<\/B> icon in the upper right corner and select <B>Help<\/B> for additional hints, including how to print and save a copy of your W-2.<\/UL><\/p>\n<p><B>For Mac users<\/B><\/p>\n<p>Are you a Macintosh user and having problems viewing your W-2? If you can&#8217;t view your W-2, you&#8217;ll need to install a PDF plugin. <a href=\"http:\/\/asg.nebraska.edu\/cmtd\/firefly\/viewing_w2_firefox_mac.pdf\" target=\"_blanK\" rel=\"noopener\">View installation instructions<\/a> for the plugin.  <\/p>\n<p>You must have Adobe Reader 9 installed on your machine to view your W-2. If you have the reader installed, but still can&#8217;t view your W-2, validate you don&#8217;t have any pending updates as these updates may inhibit your ability to view your W-2.  <\/p>\n<p>To check for updates:<br \/>\n<UL><LI>Open your Adobe Reader and select <B>Help<\/B > and then <B>Check for Updates<\/B>.<br \/>\n<LI>Restart your computer after you installed the updates.<\/UL><\/p>\n<p><B>Want to print your W-2?<\/B><\/p>\n<p>Use the print icon with in the PDF viewer. If you don&#8217;t see a printer icon, &#8220;right click&#8221; on the W-2 form and select the <B>Print<\/B> option.<\/p>\n<p>Contact the campus help desk at 559-7700 if you have
