The Omaha Science Cafe<\/a> featuring UNMC’s William Lydiatt, M.D., and a discussion on a link between risky behavior and head and neck cancer has been rescheduled for Wednesday (Feb. 16). <\/p>\n

In his presentation — titled “Do Sex, Drugs, Rock and Roll Contribute to Head and Neck Cancer?” — Dr. Lydiatt will discuss an emerging epidemic of head and neck cancer and the possible contributions of risky behavior to the rise in the diseases. <\/p>\n

What:<\/B> Science Cafe is a free educational event sponsored by UNMC and other groups to increase science literacy. Hosted by UNMC, Bio Nebraska<\/a> and the Nebraska Coalition for Lifesaving Cures<\/a>, Science Cafes are held the first Tuesday of each month in Omaha and one Thursday every other month in Lincoln.<\/p>\n
