The Amnesty Phase for the Dependent Eligibility Audit will end Monday (Feb. 28).<\/p>\n

The Amnesty Phase is an opportunity for employees to remove ineligible<\/B> dependents from the University of Nebraska medical and\/or dental insurance plans in order to help the university keep its health care costs under control. <\/p>\n

All ineligible dependents enrolled in the university’s medical and\/or dental plans — including dependents ages 19 to 26 who are eligible for coverage through an employer-sponsored group medical plan — must be removed during the Amnesty Phase. <\/B><\/p>\n

All employees enrolled in the university’s medical and\/or dental plans AND who have dependents, should have received a letter at home from Chapman Kelly — the firm conducting the audit. <\/p>\n
