\nGloria Borgstahl, Ph.D.<\/span>
\n<\/TD>
\n<\/TR>
\n<\/TABLE>Gloria Borgstahl, Ph.D.,<\/B> professor in the Eppley Institute, will present at the 22nd International Congress and General Assembly of the International Union of Crystallography (IUCr) in Madrid, Spain in August. Dr. Borgstahl’s presentation will be on modulated protein crystals and computational simulations of their diffraction. The congress is the main international event in crystallography.<\/p>\n

UNMC Comparative Medicine<\/B> recently received continued full accreditation from the Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care. The UNMC team was commended for its efforts to provide and maintain “an exemplary program of laboratory animal care and use” and was given no suggestions for improvement. <\/p>\n

Randeep Jawa, M.D.,<\/B> assistant professor of surgery, has been elected vice chairman for Nebraska for the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma.<\/p>\n
