Today a memorial service for Rubens Pamies, M.D., vice chancellor for academic affairs and dean for graduate studies, will be held at Joslyn Art Museum.<\/p>\n

The service will mark the latest event in a long string of demonstrations of support and affection for UNMC and Dr. Pamies, who died unexpectedly of a heart attack on Feb. 26 at the age of 52. <\/p>\n

The University of Nebraska Board of Regents at its meeting on Friday took a moment of silence and held a brief remembrance for the late vice chancellor. <\/p>\n
