Monday evening’s UNMC LINK sandbagging event has been put on hold indefinitely as officials say overwhelming community response will yield enough sandbags by the end of the weekend to meet the city of Omaha’s current needs.<\/p>\n

For those who would like to assist in the sandbagging effort over the weekend, here is a schedule<\/a> of volunteer sessions for today, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. <\/p>\n
