\n<\/TABLE>Employees are encouraged to come to Levi Carter Park near Eppley Airfield on Thursday evening to fill sandbags in an effort to protect the metro area from the Missouri River flood. <\/p>\n

The UNMC team will fill sandbags from 5 to 8 p.m. <\/p>\n

You don’t have to be a UNMC LINK member to participate but you do have to 19 or older and wear close-toed shoes.<\/p>\n

It’s also recommended that volunteers bring gloves and a shovel and wear sunblock and bug spray. <\/p>\n
