\nThis painting by Anathbandhu (Andy) Chaudhuri, Ph.D., of the Eppley Institute is on sale at the Old Market Artists Gallery as part of the Art With A Purpose display. Proceeds from the painting sale benefit the UNMC Eppley Cancer Center.<\/span>

\n<\/TABLE>Below is a list of achievements, activities and happenings involving UNMC staff, faculty and students.<\/p>\n

Each member of the UNMC dental class of 2014<\/B> passed Part I of the National Board Dental Examination. The class average score was four points above the national average. <\/p>\n

At the recent campus blood drive,<\/B> 72 pints of blood were collected. The goal for the drive was to collect 62 pints. <\/p>\n

Dennis McNeilly, Psy.D.,<\/B> professor of psychiatry and assistant dean for continuing education in the College of Medicine, recently was selected as the chairman of the Nebraska State Committee on Problem Gambling. Dr McNeilly was first appointed to the committee in 2007 by Gov. Dave Heineman and has served as the committee’s vice chairman since 2010. <\/p>\n

The Art With A Purpose<\/a><\/B> display at the Old Market Artists Gallery<\/a> wraps up next week. Three artists, including Anathbandhu (Andy) Chaudhuri, Ph.D., of the Eppley Institute and Kris Hammond of the UNMC Human Resources, will donate proceeds from the sale of their art to research at the Eppley Cancer Center.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
