As colder weather approaches, employees are reminded that because of the nature of work conducted at UNMC and its hospital partner, The Nebraska Medical Center, the campus does not close as University of Nebraska campuses may during extreme weather.<\/p>\n

As such, according to the UNMC Work Schedules Policy, employees who miss work because of weather must use vacation or floating holiday time to account for these absences.<\/p>\n
