There is still time to register for Bike for Sight, which is on April 14 in downtown Omaha.<\/p>\n

\n<\/TABLE>With a bicycle and $20, employees can take part in this charity bike ride event, sponsored by the UNMC Department of Ophthalmology’s international division. <\/p>\n

Participants can choose from a 5, 10, 20 or 40 mile loop. The five-mile loop also is open to walkers.<\/p>\n

Ophthalmology relief in Haiti<\/B><\/p>\n

All proceeds from the event will go to support a cataract surgery camp at Justinien hospital in Cape Haitien in Haiti. <\/p>\n

In May, a team led by Michael Feilmeier, M.D., medical director of the international division, will travel to the hospital.<\/p>\n

Open to all<\/B><\/p>\n

Anyone can enter the Bike for Sight Charity Ride raffle and have a chance to win a 2010 Globe Live Red Bicycle, a $580 value, or the 2011 Kona 18″ Africa Bike, a $479 value, donated courtesy of The Bike Way<\/a>. <\/p>\n
