The London Britches secured the gold medal as they were the first UNMC Walks to the Olympics team to make it to London. <\/p>\n

But the silver-medal winners, Mandeville Movers, surged ahead of the Britches in the overall rankings this week. <\/p>\n

International Delight was the third team to get to London and qualify for bronze medals and several other teams seem poised to make it to London in the next week. This week’s full rankings are below. <\/p>\n

But before we get to them … <\/p>\n

Introducing ‘Jean Teams’<\/B><\/p>\n

Going forward, members of the team that walks the most steps during a particular week will be allowed to wear blue jeans to work for the next week — as long as other duties allow for it of course. <\/p>\n

‘Jean Teams’ will be announced on Wednesday and the jean privileges will run from that Thursday through the following Wednesday. <\/p>\n

As such, our first Jean Team is the Mandeville Movers. The silver-medal winners were powered this week by a collective output of 2,565,206 steps.<\/p>\n
