This innate sense of curiosity was encouraged by both my parents and science teachers who challenged me to think outside the box and expand my knowledge of the world around me. By the time I graduated middle school, I knew that science was what I wanted to do with my life.  <\/p>\n<p>One of the many things I love about science is the endless opportunities it presents. Upon graduating from college, I have the option of doing research, working in industry, becoming a doctor, etc. Prior to the INBRE Program, I was set on going to medical school and becoming a pediatrician.
