If you’re team captain for the UNMC Walks to the Olympics Challenge<\/a>, send weekly update about your team’s step total to today@unmc.edu<\/a> by 5 p.m. today so we can see where teams stand in the race to London.<\/p>\n

Congratulations to Fran Higgins, administrative associate in the School of Allied Health Professions, who logged 2,884 steps between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Friday to win the random challenge and a $10 iTunes gift card. <\/p>\n

A reminder to campus swimmers, be sure to turn in your “swim steps” by 4 p.m. on Thursday to see if you win the “Golden Goggles” and a $10 iTunes gift card.<\/p>\n
