{"id":40929,"date":"2012-08-14T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2012-08-14T05:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/newsroom\/2012\/08\/14\/learnlunch-series-focused-on-problem-solving\/"},"modified":"2012-08-14T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2012-08-14T05:00:00","slug":"learnlunch-series-focused-on-problem-solving","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/newsroom\/2012\/08\/14\/learnlunch-series-focused-on-problem-solving\/","title":{"rendered":"Learn@Lunch series focused on problem solving"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"panel body-content\"><div class=\"panel__container\"><p>UNMC Human Resources will launch its fall Learn@Lunch Series on Sept. 19 with &#8220;From Problem to Possibility.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><B>When:<\/B> 11:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m <\/p>\n<p><B>Where:<\/B> Sorrell Center, Room 2010.  <\/p>\n<p><B>Who:<\/B> Executive coach Susan Ann Koenig, J.D., will help you find clarity about which problems are yours to solve, bring focus when competing priorities slow down progress, overcome the inevitable obstacles to solving a problem and restore your enthusiasm for finding solutions.<\/p>\n<p><B>Future sessions:<\/B><br \/>\n<UL><LI><B>Oct. 17<\/B> &#8212; &#8220;Appreciative Inquiry&#8221; by Carol Horner, president of Synchronicity Inc., who will present an innovative way at looking at problem-solving the changes your mindset from running from something (problems) to running towards something (solutions).<br \/>\n<LI><B>Nov. 15<\/B> &#8212; &#8220;Power is in the Question&#8221; by consultant Angela Galloway, who will show you powerful questions that can assist you in everyday problem solving. In this session, you will pinpoint questions that will identify the root cause of a problem and obtain insight to where you may stop too soon. <\/UL><\/p>\n<p><B>Registration:<\/B> Classroom size is limited to 80 people and registration is required.
