{"id":42211,"date":"2013-03-05T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2013-03-05T06:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/newsroom\/2013\/03\/05\/annual-faculty-award-nomination-deadline-march-15\/"},"modified":"2022-08-19T12:48:58","modified_gmt":"2022-08-19T17:48:58","slug":"annual-faculty-award-nomination-deadline-march-15","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/newsroom\/2013\/03\/05\/annual-faculty-award-nomination-deadline-march-15\/","title":{"rendered":"Annual faculty award nomination deadline March 15"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"panel body-content\"><div class=\"panel__container\"><p>The nomination deadline for the UNMC Faculty Senate&#8217;s annual awards is quickly approaching.<\/p>\n<p>The Faculty Senate recognizes faculty for meritorious teaching or service at its annual meeting, which this year will be on April 25.<\/p>\n<p>Nominations must be emailed no later than Friday, March 15 for consideration of the following awards:<br \/>\n<UL><br \/>\n<LI>Four Outstanding Teacher Awards,<br \/>\n<LI>One Spirit of Community Service Award, and<br \/>\n<LI>One Outstanding Faculty Mentor of Graduate Students Award.  <\/p>\n<p>Persons holding faculty appointments at UNMC are eligible to be nominated for these awards. <\/p>\n<p>Nomination forms and selection criteria are available on the <a href=\"https:\/\/info.unmc.edu\/blog\/facultysenate\/award-forms\/\" target=\"_blanK\" rel=\"noopener\">Faculty Senate web page<\/a>. Forms also may be obtained from the Office of the Faculty Senate, 559-5132, or <a href=\"mailto:lspencer@unmc.edu\">lspencer@unmc.edu<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Nominations must be emailed in pdf format to the Honorary Degrees &#038; Awards Committee, c\/o Office of the Faculty Senate, at  <a href=\"mailto:facultysenate@unmc.edu\">facultysenate@unmc.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<!-- <a rel=\"nofollow\"
