{"id":42398,"date":"2013-03-04T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2013-03-04T06:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/newsroom\/2013\/03\/04\/new-tool-available-for-requesting-patient-care-information\/"},"modified":"2022-08-19T12:49:51","modified_gmt":"2022-08-19T17:49:51","slug":"new-tool-available-for-requesting-patient-care-information","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/newsroom\/2013\/03\/04\/new-tool-available-for-requesting-patient-care-information\/","title":{"rendered":"New tool available for requesting patient care information"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"panel body-content\"><div class=\"panel__container\"><p>\n<strong><em>Enterprise Analytics team will review requests<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\nA new resource called the Analytics Request Tool (ART) is available to request information related to patient care.<\/p>\n<p>\nCreated by the Continuous Quality Improvement and The Nebraska Medical Center IT departments, the tool provides a formalized process to request, track and validate a variety of requests.<\/p>\n<p>\nExamples of past requests include specific clinic readmission rates, referral reports, patients of primary care physicians and patient menu orders. Many requests are for data to support One Chart projects.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\nEach request will be reviewed by the Enterprise Analytics Team to determine if a current solution exists or could simply be modified to meet the request.<\/p>\n<p>\n&ldquo;Our customers should not be concerned with finding the source of the data being requested,&rdquo; said Lauren Tietgen, lead, Enterprise Analytics. &ldquo;The Enterprise Analytics team will focus on determining the best source of the data being requested, as well as the best delivery format that helps our customers best use the
