to focus on a culture of wellness"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"panel body-content\"><div class=\"panel__container\"><p>The upcoming Creating a Culture of Wellness in Healthcare Settings conference is designed to aid physicians and clinical staff in enhancing their own wellness and their clinics&#8217; workplace wellness.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s a message that should be heard,&#8221; said Audrey Paulman, M.D., associate professor of family medicine. &#8220;Integrated lifestyle medicine needs more awareness and this conference will provide participants with tools they can use in their own practice.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Clinicians also will learn new strategies, resources and patient counseling techniques at the May 17-18 conference at The Lied Lodge in Nebraska City.<\/p>\n<p>Guest speakers include:<br \/>\n<UL><br \/>\n<LI>Keynote speaker: Dr. Edward Phillips, director of the Harvard Institute of Lifestyle Medicine and co-author of &#8220;Exercise is Medicine.&#8221; Dr. Phillips is a practicing physician dedicated to building the Harvard Institute of Lifestyle Medicine, which provides educational programs to all health professionals and conducts outcome and field research on the efficacy of Lifestyle Medicine education and programs.<br \/>\n<LI>Dr. Jeremy Lazarus, president of the American Medical Association.<br \/>\n<LI>Matt Davison, former
