Wilson Jr., M.D., Honorary Lecture in Arthroplasty on April 12 at the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS).<\/p>\n<p>\nFounded in 1863, HSS is the nation&#39;s oldest orthopaedic hospital. It was ranked No. 1 for orthopaedics in the nation in 2012-2013 by U.S. News and World Report and is a world leader in orthopaedics, rheumatology and rehabilitation. Dr. Garvin, who completed a hip fellowship at HSS, presented, &quot;Prosthetic Joint Infection of the Hip: Are We Making Progress?&quot;<\/p>\n<p>\nSince 1968, HHS has held a Visiting Professor Lecture Series, featuring both distinguished research and honorary service lectures.
