Maurer, M.D. will speak at the Maurer Commons prior to the ribbon cutting. He will be joined by Nora Sarvetnick, Ph.D., director of the regenerative medicine program; UNMC supporter Mike Yanney; John Niemann, Ed.D., senior vice president of the University of Nebraska Foundation; and Dick Holland himself.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Mr. Holland&#8217;s commitment to the regenerative medicine program and to UNMC as a whole has been unwavering,&#8221; said UNMC Chancellor Harold M. Maurer, M.D. &#8220;We are pleased to recognize him by adding his name, as well as his late wife Mary&#8217;s, to this program which he has steadfastly supported.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>The ribbon cutting will be held on the sixth floor of the Durham Research Center II, which will officially be named the Mary and Dick Holland Regenerative Medicine Program.<\/p>\n<p>The event will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 25.
