Each week during the campaign, we will feature a member of the UNMC community who is a United Way supporter.<\/p>\n<p>Today, we meet:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Name:<\/b> Deb Thomas\n<li><b>Department:<\/b> Business and Finance\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Favorite United Way community partners:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Ollie Webb Institute\n<li>Meyer Foundation for Disabilities\n<\/ul>\n<p><TABLE border=\"0\" width=\"500\" cellspacing=\"5\" cellpadding=\"3\" align=\"right\"><br \/>\n<TR><br \/>\n<TD><br \/>\n<TABLE border=\"1\" width=\"500\" cellspacing=\"1\" cellpadding=\"5\" bgcolor=\"99ccff\"><br \/>\n<TR><br \/>\n<TD><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">\n<font face=\"arial\"><br \/>\n<B><br \/>\nThe running total<br \/>\n<\/B><br \/>\n<BR><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">\n<font face=\"arial\" size=\"2\"><br \/>\nAs of 3 p.m. Tuesday, UNMC achieved:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Donations of $99,900, more than 64 percent of the campaign goal of $156,000.\n<li>Employee participation of 30 percent. Last year, there was 42 percent participation &#8212; that should be an easy number to break. Remember, using the <a href=\"https:\/\/net.unmc.edu\/eserv\/\">UNMC eServ<\/a> website to choose not to donate counts as participation!\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/P><br \/>\n<\/FONT><br \/>\n<\/TD><br \/>\n<\/TR><br \/>\n<\/TABLE><br \/>\n<\/TD><br \/>\n<\/TR><br \/>\n<\/TABLE><br \/>\n<b>I support the United Way because:<\/b><br \/>\nWhy would I not?  This is the community where I live, work and play.  What I donate to the United Way goes to help fund programs for many agencies that offer help to everyone from the neighbor next door to families across town.
