I’ve never been a fan of New Year resolutions. It’s not that I don’t think there are changes to be made in my life; I just think most of us make resolutions that are well intentioned but still lofty and rarely kept<\/a>. If you have the right personality to commit to going to the gym every day and losing 50 pounds, more power to you. But for the rest of us mere mortals, it’s not that likely.<\/p>\n

I do like the idea of a little change in a positive direction, though. So this year, LiveGreen is asking people to make one resolution to do “a little more, a little better.” No big proclamations, no crazy plans, just find one thing that you do and do it a little more or a little better.<\/p>\n

Do you already recycle paper, plastic and metal? Maybe you could recycle glass.<\/p>\n

Do you already work to save energy? Maybe you could take the stairs instead of the elevator (saving energy while being healthier).<\/p>\n

Maybe you could switch from plastic shopping bags to reusable? Ever thought of trying Meatless Mondays<\/a>? Or using public transportation once a week? Or saving documents electronically instead of printing?<\/p>\n

Pick whatever you want and find one thing you can do a little more, a little better. You may be surprised at the number of benefits it has.<\/p>\n
