Seventy students from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College<\/p>\n

of Pharmacy were named to the dean’s list following the spring semester<\/p>\n

2001.  To qualify for the dean’s list, students must place in the<\/p>\n

top 20 percent of their class and maintain a grade point average of 3.5<\/p>\n

or above.<\/p>\n

UNMC’s College of Pharmacy is one of the first colleges in the nation<\/p>\n

to offer the doctorate of pharmacy degree. Currently through a grant, the<\/p>\n

college is reducing distance barriers in Nebraska’s rural area by making<\/p>\n

available computerized health information networks that link rural pharmacies<\/p>\n

with UNMC’s computerized drug and health information system.<\/p>\n
