Via the Internet, Dr. Dominguez, an associate professor<\/p>\n<p>of infectious diseases at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, hosts<\/p>\n<p>a forum where participants may submit medical-related questions for him<\/p>\n<p>to answer.<\/p>\n<p><BR>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><BR>&#8220;This is an excellent medium for the public to get answers to medical<\/p>\n<p>questions they have been curious about for years,&#8221; Dr. Dominguez said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In general, participants who submit a question will receive a response<\/p>\n<p>within 24 hours.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><BR>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><BR>Anyone with general health questions, or questions relating to a topic<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Dominguez discussed on KETV, can post their question to him at<A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/healthwatch.htm\"><\/p>\n<p><\/A><A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/healthwatch\">http:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/healthwatch<\/A>.<\/p>\n<p>KETV viewers can watch Dr. Dominguez every Tuesday and Friday at 5 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>and every Saturday at 10 p.m. They can also see him live every Thursday<\/p>\n<p>at 5 p.m. when he discusses new developments in health care. If a viewer<\/p>\n<p>misses his report, they can read it on this same site and check out upcoming<\/p>\n<p>topics. People also will be able to e-mail comments and story suggestions<\/p>\n<p>to Dr. Dominguez.<\/p>\n<p><BR>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><BR>A native of San Antonio, Texas, Dr. Dominguez joined UNMC in 1992 and<\/p>\n<p>is board-certified in both internal medicine and infectious diseases.
