719 students at the University of Nebraska Medical Center have completed<\/p>\n

their first semester.  Last fall, UNMC experienced a significant<\/p>\n

rise in applications for most of our educational programs, said Rubens<\/p>\n

Pamies, M.D., vice chancellor for academic affairs. This rise can be attributed<\/p>\n

to increased recruitment efforts, and increased student interest in health<\/p>\n

care careers. It is gratifying to see so many Nebraska students selecting<\/p>\n

UNMC for their health care education.<\/p>\n
