Proceeds go to support the<\/p>\n<p>therapeutic, training and research activities benefiting children, youth<\/p>\n<p>and adults with developmental disabilities and chronic handicapping conditions.<\/p>\n<p><P>Denese Stalnaker and Carol Miller are co-chairs of the event.<\/p>\n<p><P>The gardens feature special ideas in landscaping, planting, and patio<\/p>\n<p>treatments. Expert nursery personnel will be available at each site to<\/p>\n<p>answer questions.&nbsp; The Garden Walk is a rain or shine event.<\/p>\n<p><P>We truly need and appreciate the community support we receive by the<\/p>\n<p>attendance at the Garden Walk, Stalnaker said. Without community help,<\/p>\n<p>it would not be possible for the guild to give support to the families<\/p>\n<p>undergoing treatment and give grants to students which enable them to train<\/p>\n<p>with the professional staff.<\/p>\n<p><P>Visitors will tour gardens at seven locations from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The homeowners and sites are: Glenn and Ruth Brand, 4114 N. 79th St.; Steve<\/p>\n<p>and Cindy Forehead, 1615 N. 136th St.; Thomas D. and Ann C. Wolfe, Jr.,<\/p>\n<p>303 S. 166th St.; Hugh and Donna Morton, 6620 Cuming; Miles Skultety, M.D.,<\/p>\n<p>840 Crestridge Rd.; V.J. (Jim) and DeLea Morrissey, 7815 Howard St.; and<\/p>\n<p>Steve and&nbsp; Debbie Shreve, 5088 S. 174th St.<\/p>\n<p><P>Advance tickets are $8 ($10 day of the event at all gardens) and may<\/p>\n<p>be purchased at Indian Creek Nursery, 303 Saddle Creek Rd.; Lanoha Nursery,<\/p>\n<p>192nd &amp; W. Center Rd.; Moores Landscaping &amp; Nursery, 11999 Cryer<\/p>\n<p>Ave.; Earl May Nursery and Garden Center, 404 N. Galvin Rd., Bellevue and<\/p>\n<p>Earl May Nursery and Garden Center, 132nd St. &amp; West Dodge Rd.; and<\/p>\n<p>Mulhall&#8217;s Home &amp; Garden Center, 120th &amp; W. Maple Street.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Children under 12 are free.
