Those who sign up from now until June 1 will receive a $25 discount
\noff to play in the C. Louis Meyer Rehabilitation Foundation, Inc. June
\n3 Tee-Up for Disabilities Golf Tournament at the Tregaron Golf Course in
\nBellevue, 13909 Glengarry Circle.<\/p>\n

Individuals, twosomes and foursomes can sign up for the best ball, 18-hole
\ntournament. Cost for the tournament has been discounted to $75 per person,
\nwhich includes hole prizes, door prizes, raffle, refreshment cart and dinner.
\nPrize for hole-in-one will be a car from McMullen Ford. Omaha golf legend,
\nSusan Marchese, and Professional Golf Association teaching pro Steve Hogan,
\nwill be hosting golf clinics before the tournament.<\/p>\n

Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Adult Evening Respite
\nand Habilitation Program at Munroe-Meyer Institute (MMI), which is located
\non the University of Nebraska Medical Center campus. Held in the spring
\nand fall, the program and run by volunteers, the program provides respite
\ncare for families and caregivers of adults with disabilities. Those who
\nbenefit include those with developmental disabilities, autism, cerebral
\npalsy, Downs Syndrome, spina bifida and genetic disorders. Activities
\ninclude swimming, arts and crafts, music and dance, cooking and community
\noutings.<\/p>\n

The not-for-profit C. Louis Meyer Foundation supports programs at MMI.
\nFor 10 years, the foundation has funded Munroe-Meyer Institute Recreational
\nTherapy Adult Respite and Habilitation programs. Without these programs,
\nmany parents and caregivers of adults with disabilities would lose their
\nonly source of safe, supervised care for their loved ones.<\/p>\n

Registration for the golf tournament will begin at 10:30 a.m. followed
\nby a clinic at 11 a.m. and shotgun start at noon.
