Diplomas will be conferred on 227 University of Nebraska Medical Center<\/p>\n

students this week during commencement ceremonies in Kearney, Omaha and<\/p>\n

Scottsbluff.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, December 16 at 7 p.m., the Medical Center will hold the<\/p>\n

winter commencement exercises in the Fine Arts Recital Hall on the Kearney<\/p>\n

campus. At this time, approximately 22 graduates of the Kearney Division<\/p>\n

of the College of Nursing will receive their diplomas and awards. <\/p>\n

A reception will follow the ceremony.<\/p>\n

The Omaha UNMC commencement ceremony will take place on Friday, December<\/p>\n

17, at 1 p.m. in the Witherspoon Concert Hall at the Joslyn Art Museum,<\/p>\n

2200 Dodge Street.  About 100 students will receive degrees in nursing,<\/p>\n

dentistry, graduate studies and the allied health professions.<\/p>\n

The commencement ceremony of the West Nebraska Division of the College<\/p>\n

of Nursing, in Scottsbluff, will take place on Saturday, Dec. 18, at 2<\/p>\n

p.m. at the University of Nebraska Panhandle Research and Extension Center<\/p>\n

Auditorium, 4502 Avenue I, Scottsbluff NE.  Eighteen nursing students<\/p>\n

will receive their degrees and awards.  A reception will follow the<\/p>\n

ceremony.<\/p>\n
