University of Nebraska Medical Center students are working with health professionals across Nebraska as part of their health care education requirements at UNMC. The student rotations are part of the UNMC Rural Health Education Network (RHEN), an innovative program developed to help address the shortage of health professionals in rural Nebraska.<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n
The students represent the College of Medicine, College of Pharmacy and the School of Allied Health Professions. <\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n
This program, implemented by the RHEN office, was developed to expose students to a rural health setting with the idea that if students receive their training in a rural area, the chances are greater that they may consider returning to a rural area once they complete their training.<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n
From April to May of the Spring 2007 Semester, the following students will be doing and\/or completing their rural rotations.  Rotations are listed below by college, name of town in which the student will do the rotation, student’s name and hometown, facility name and rotation dates.<\/div>\n
