One hundred and thirty-five University of Nebraska Medical Center students received Regents Scholarships for the 2008-09 school year. The one-year scholarships are among the most prestigious awards granted by UNMC colleges and programs. They cover up to full tuition for full-time students who are residents of the state of Nebraska.<\/div>\n

Recipients are selected each year by scholarship committees in colleges or programs based on academic standing established by each college or program.<\/div>\n
