{"id":48704,"date":"2009-04-17T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2009-04-17T05:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/newsroom\/2009\/04\/17\/children-with-cancer-from-nebraska-iowa-to-benefit-from-poker-run-saturday-may-17\/"},"modified":"2022-08-28T19:24:45","modified_gmt":"2022-08-29T00:24:45","slug":"children-with-cancer-from-nebraska-iowa-to-benefit-from-poker-run-saturday-may-17","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/newsroom\/2009\/04\/17\/children-with-cancer-from-nebraska-iowa-to-benefit-from-poker-run-saturday-may-17\/","title":{"rendered":"Children with cancer from Nebraska, Iowa to benefit from poker run Saturday, May 17"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"panel body-content\"><div class=\"panel__container\"><p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt 3.75pt\"><span style=\"color: black\">Children with cancer from Nebraska and Iowa will benefit from a poker run Saturday, May 17, during the Dillon Brothers Harley-Davidson&#8217;s 7th Annual Maiden Voyage Poker Run in the Omaha area.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt 3.75pt\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt 3.75pt\"><span style=\"color: black\">Proceeds from the poker run will benefit Camp Quality Heartland, a non-profit, volunteer organization that provides free summer camping experiences and other year-round programs for children with cancer and their siblings, ages three to 18. <\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt 3.75pt\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt 3.75pt\"><span style=\"color: black\">The Poker Run will begin at noon at the Dillon Brothers Harley-Davidson store at 174th St. &amp; Maple Rd., and will stop in four small towns, then back to Omaha, totaling about 130 miles. The last stop will feature food and refreshments at a local restaurant where prizes for top three poker hands will be awarded.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt 3.75pt\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt 3.75pt\"><span style=\"color: black\">Register at Dillon&rsquo;s before the event, or on the date of the event between 10:30 a.m. noon.
