Registration and check-in begin at 9 a.m. at the park&nbsp;pavilion. The walk will start at 10 a.m.<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\">This year, the foundation will hold events in 24 cities to raise funds for lymphoma research and education. The LYMPHOMAthon is a fun-filled, non-competitive event that offers survivors, family, friends, community, and corporate teams an opportunity to walk in honor of those whose lives have been touched by lymphoma.<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\">Lymphoma, a type of cancer that involves the lymph nodes, falls into two broad categories: Hodgkin&rsquo;s lymphoma and non-Hodgkin&rsquo;s lymphoma. The incidence of non-Hodgkin&#8217;s lymphoma in Nebraska is higher than the national average &ndash; with the 16<sup>th&nbsp;<\/sup>highest death rate. About 450 new cases of lymphoma are diagnosed in Nebraskans each year.<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\">You can start a team, join a team, or sign up as an individual by going to: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lymphomathon.org\/\"><span style=\"color: windowtext;text-decoration: none\">www.lymphomathon.org<\/span><\/a>.
