The space is available during evenings on weekdays, and during the day and evening on weekends.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"background: white;margin: 0in 0in 0pt\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"background: white;margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The Dr. Stanley M. and Dorothy Truhlsen Campus Events Center is housed on the first floor of the&nbsp;<\/span><a target=\"_self\" href=\"http:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/sorrellcenter\/\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;color: windowtext;text-decoration: none\">Michael F. Sorrell Center for Health Science Education<\/span><\/a>. <span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">&nbsp;The Sorrell Center, which was built with private funds, opened in 2008 and is located <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">on the northeast corner of 42nd and Emile Streets. <\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"background: white;margin: 0in 0in 0pt\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"background: white;margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The Events Center offers 6,800 square feet of modern, versatile space to host a variety of events including weddings, conferences, receptions and more. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">It features a large ballroom that can accommodate up to 500 people seated for a lecture style program or up to 350 people for a sit-down meal.
