\nThe University of Nebraska Medical Center Recruitment and Student Engagement, held its second annual Health Care Career Day. <\/p>\n

\nThe event introduces students with an interest in health care careers to the multitude of professions available in the health sciences. <\/p>\n

\nA total of 305 participants from 36 towns and 37 rural schools learned about opportunities in behavioral health, biomedical sciences\/graduate studies, clinical perfusion, cytotechnology, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, dentistry, physician assistant, physical therapy, clinical laboratory science, public health, medical nutrition, and radiation sciences.  The students attended three 30-minute interactive sessions of their choosing with various health professionals. <\/p>\n
