requires new biosketch format effective Jan. 25"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"panel body-content\"><div class=\"panel__container\"><p>The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has announced that it will require the use of a new biosketch format for any grant applications due on or after Jan. 25.<\/p>\n<p>The official notice can be seen <a href=\"http:\/\/grants.nih.gov\/grants\/guide\/notice-files\/NOT-OD-15-024.html\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Significant changes to the format include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The page limit is extended from four to five pages\n<li>The &#8220;Personal Statement&#8221; section now requests highlighting up to four publications in addition to training, technical expertise, and work with collaborators.\n<li>A new &#8220;Contribution to Science&#8221; section replaces the former &#8220;Selected Peer-Reviewed Publications&#8221; section, where researchers need to describe up to five of their most significant contributions to science.\n<li>The &#8220;Contribution to Science&#8221; section can provide a URL link to the researcher&#8217;s published works as found in a publicly available digital
