\n<\/TABLE>Registered dietitian Meghan McLarney, with Nebraska Medicine’s Diabetes Center, will discuss lactose intolerance at the next Olson Center Brown Bag presentation, scheduled for noon to 1 p.m. on Feb. 17 in the Eppley Science Hall.<\/p>\n

Did you know that many people with lactose intolerance can actually eat some of the foods that have lactose? McLarney will discuss tips to figure out personal limits on lactose, will offer recipe fixes to lower lactose levels and will lead an interactive discussion to provide information on the topic of lactose intolerance, including what lactose intolerance is and which foods cause symptoms of lactose intolerance.<\/p>\n

Seating is limited; please pre-register by calling the Olson Center at 402-559-6345 or by email<\/a>.<\/b> Bring your lunch, and refreshments will be provided.<\/p>\n
