I grew up in a rural area isolated from health care, and I have seen firsthand some of the opportunities and challenges associated with primary care. In my ambition to become a physician assistant, I found this opportunity in community-oriented primary care. It is important to me to be able to identify health care gaps and connect this knowledge with clinical practice. Thankfully, the certificate program will allow me to complete my education in public health before starting my physician assistant studies.  <\/p>\n<p><b>Your favorite study snack is:<\/b><br \/>\nSour Patch Kids!<\/p>\n<p><b>Your favorite app is:<\/b><br \/>\nPinterest. I am always cooking new recipes and looking for DIY projects. So if I am at the store, I always open my Pinterest app to see what I might need!<\/p>\n<p><b>Three things people may not know about you.<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I am a farm girl at heart!
