The American Cancer Society (ACS) defines Relay For Life as the world’s largest support group for survivors and their caregivers. <\/p>\n

Fundraising, fun and recognition are part of more than 5,200 Relay For Life events every year. On June 27, supporters of the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center will participate in the Douglas County event. <\/p>\n

Employees, students, faculty and their families are invited to join the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center team for free by signing up on the Relay For Life website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Elkhorn South High School will host the Relay For Life of Douglas County with family-friendly activities and food vendors starting at 3 p.m. During the opening ceremony, a special lap around the high school track will be held to celebrate cancer survivors, followed by a lap in honor of caregivers. <\/p>\n
