This past weekend, more than 30 survivors and their families as well as providers and researchers from UNMC, the Olson Center for Women’s Health and Nebraska Medicine, joined the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center team in support of the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) Walk to Break the Silence.<\/p>\n

The event, held at Lake Zorinsky, was in its ninth year and had more than 500 registered walkers and runners. Our strong show of support did not go unnoticed by the event organizers, the community and, most importantly, our patients.<\/p>\n

Employees are again encouraged to join our teams for the upcoming events listed below.<\/p>\n

Interested individuals should utilize the links below to register and pay, if applicable, for the walks. For more information, or if you’re interested in volunteering at the booth, contact the team captains listed below.<\/p>\n
