The UNMC Department of Orthopaedic Surgery will host the five members of the 2015 North American Traveling Fellowship (NATF) Tuesday through Thursday. <\/p>\n

Omaha is the third stop on the group’s five-week journey to regional orthopaedic centers throughout the United States and Canada.<\/p>\n

The NATF is a flagship tour of the American Orthopaedic Association and promotes clinical and scientific exchange between fellows and host programs. The tour recognizes young leaders and gives host programs more visibility and recognition in the wider orthopaedics community.<\/p>\n

While in Omaha, the fellows will observe UNMC orthopaedic faculty members during clinic hours and in surgery, tour the Orthopaedic Biomechanics Laboratory at the Scott Technology Center and give presentations on various orthopaedic topics.<\/p>\n

Presentations will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Wednesday in the Sorrell Center, Room 2018. The campus community is invited and light refreshments will be served.<\/p>\n
