The workshops will showcase your voice and will be the focus of action plans to improve <i>our<\/i> workplace.<\/p>\n<p>Each topic will be delivered twice with the same content so you can attend on a day that is convenient for you. Each topic is keyed to specific questions that were asked as part of the engagement survey.<\/p>\n<p>All UNMC employees are invited to attend, but <b>space is limited to 60 participants<\/b> to ensure active participation and lively dialogue by all attendees. <a href=\"https:\/\/net.unmc.edu\/eserv\/\">To register, click here.<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>The topics include:<\/p>\n<p><b>Trust and Inclusion:<\/b><br \/>\nNoon-1:30 p.m., Jan. 28 and May 18, College of Public Health, Room 3013<br \/>\nThis deep dive session will inspire dialogue around why trust matters in the workplace and how our work would look differently if we had a high trust environment.<\/p>\n<p><b>Manager Effectiveness\/Performance Management:<\/b><br \/>\nNoon-1:30 p.m., Feb. 26 and June 15, COPH, Room 3013<br \/>\nThis workshop will define what accountability looks and feels like in the workplace for all employees. We also will explore the traits of an effective manager and how everyone on the team has a role in making the department great!<\/p>\n<p><b>Inclusive Communication:<\/b><br \/>\nNoon-1:30 p.m., March 24 and July 20, COPH, Room 3013<br \/>\nThis session will be centered on how we prefer to share and receive information. Every person is different. How do we communicate effectively to all in a way that makes you feel heard?<\/p>\n<p><b>Recognition:<\/b><br \/>\nNoon-1:30 p.m., April 28 and Aug. 17, COPH, Room 3013<br \/>\nThis workshop will explore what recognition is in the workplace, dialogue the best ways to be recognized and how we can all recognize each other for the great work we do.<\/p>\n<p>Please bring your lunch.
