{"id":55429,"date":"2016-04-25T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2016-04-25T05:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/newsroom\/2016\/04\/25\/learnlunch-presentations-will-be-recorded-archived\/"},"modified":"2022-08-29T15:12:53","modified_gmt":"2022-08-29T20:12:53","slug":"learnlunch-presentations-will-be-recorded-archived","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/newsroom\/2016\/04\/25\/learnlunch-presentations-will-be-recorded-archived\/","title":{"rendered":"Learn@Lunch presentations will be recorded, archived"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"panel body-content\"><div class=\"panel__container\"><p>UNMC is committed to offering development and learning opportunities for its staff that bring value for all UNMC employees.  <\/p>\n<p>As part of that effort, the popular Learn@Lunch series will now be recorded and archived.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Part of the service we provide to the community requires that we be in our departments, and we aren&#8217;t always able to physically get away to attend these events,&#8221; said Diane Kortus, employee training and development specialist and Learn@Lunch program coordinator. &#8220;Now you can still benefit from the presentation without actually attending in the room.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The last two Learn@Lunch series events, focused on elevating the dialogue around Title IX, were recorded and are now available to be viewed: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/hml.unmc.edu\/Player\/2691\">Stalking and Tech Abuse On Campus<\/a>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/hml.unmc.edu\/Player\/2870\">Bystander Activation<\/a>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8220;We will be recording these going forward so that all of our employees can benefit from the topics,&#8221; Kortus said. &#8220;This will now include those that aren&#8217;t able to attend on the day to those working in some of our highly valuable locations outside of the UNMC campus location.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>All future recordings will be linked to the Professional Development page dedicated to the Learn@Lunch series.
