Limited numbers of tickets remain for the 2016 Cattlemen’s Ball of Nebraska on Friday and Saturday.<\/p>\n

The ball will be at Lienemann Cattle Co., two miles south of Princeton, on the west side of U.S. 77 (also known as the Homestead Expressway between Lincoln and Beatrice). Look for the giant spurs at the driveway.<\/p>\n

Hosts for the ball Trevor and Torri Lienemann and their family will open their ranch to about 4,500 guests and volunteers.<\/p>\n

Tickets can be purchased online here<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Trail Boss tickets, for $450, give access to all events on both days. Top Hand tickets, $100, are for Saturday afternoon and evening, including live auctions, a prime rib dinner and concert by country superstar Clint Black. Tickets sold this close to the event can be picked up at will call or at First State Bank of Nebraska’s Hickman location.<\/p>\n

Parking won’t be as plentiful as for previous balls so carpooling is encouraged. Shuttles will be provided from downtown Lincoln.<\/p>\n

Ninety percent of the funds raised at the ball will go to the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center. The remaining 10 percent stays in or around the site of each year’s ball for local health initiatives. Since it began in 1998, the ball has raised more than $12 million, including five times over the $1 million mark.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
