Registration is now open for the Omaha Corporate Cycling Challenge on Aug. 21. <\/p>\n

Owl Ride set for Saturday<\/h3>\n

Registration is still open for the July 16 Owl Ride, Omaha’s nighttime urban cycling adventure. The unique recreational bike ride, now in its seventh year, is the largest annual night bicycle ride between Chicago and Denver. Click here<\/a> for more information.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The bike tour (it’s not a race) attracts cyclists of all abilities for tours of 10, 25 or 42 miles. Nebraska’s largest single day cycling event is free for UNMC employees to participate and costs only $5 for family members to ride. <\/p>\n

“This is a great event for families and recreational riders,” said team captain Peter Pellerito. “The different distances and the non-competitive ride make it a good fit for everyone — and for you competitive riders, the more med center riders and family members who participate, the better our chances to win the corporate challenge.” <\/p>\n
