The University of Nebraska Medical Center will hold ceremonies beginning next week to signify the beginning of health careers for students in Omaha, Lincoln, Kearney, Scottsbluff and Norfolk. The students are enrolled in programs for medicine, nursing, pharmacy, dentistry, allied health and graduate studies.<\/p>\n

Some of the ceremonies are paid for in part by donations from UNMC alumni, faculty and friends. Receptions follow the ceremonies.<\/p>\n

Below are the programs participating.<\/p>\n

College of Pharmacy,<\/strong> Aug. 17 at 7 p.m., <\/strong>Michael F. Sorrell Center for Health Science Education Truhlsen Events Center, 42nd & Emile St.<\/p>\n

Graduate College, <\/strong>Aug. 17 at 5:30 p.m., Michael F. Sorrell Center for Health Science Education Room 3001, 42nd & Emile St.<\/p>\n

College of Dentistry, <\/strong>Aug. 19 at 3:30 p.m., at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln East Campus Union, 1705 Arbor Dr., 2nd floor, Great Plains Room<\/p>\n
