The training series is open to any student currently enrolled at UNMC. The 15 participants must commit to attending at least six of eight total classes.<\/p>\n<p><b>What:<\/b> Stress Management and Resiliency Training<br \/> <br \/>\n<b>When:<\/b> Sept. 12, 19, 26, Oct. 17, 31, and Nov. 7, 14 and 21, from noon to 1:30 p.m. (lunch provided)<br \/>\n<b>Where:<\/b> Poynter Hall, Room 4002<br \/> <br \/>\n<b>Why:<\/b> This program will help participants:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understand the connection between stress and physical or emotional problems.\n<li>Learn a variety of techniques to elicit the relaxation response, the body&#8217;s innate stress buffer.\n<li>Appreciate the role of positive thoughts and beliefs.\n<li>Learn the importance of healthy eating, restorative sleep and physical activity.\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Led by:<\/b> Jennifer
