All staff performance evaluations should be completed by June 15 for fiscal year 2016-2017.<\/p>\n<p>Performance is judged on the basis of productivity, effectiveness, and overall value and contribution to the department and to the university. Employees may review UNMC Performance Evaluation Policy <a href=\"https:\/\/wiki.unmc.edu\/index.php\/Performance_Evaluation\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Managers may complete online performance evaluations for staff employees in <a href=\"https:\/\/edge.unmc.edu\/adis\/\">ADIS<\/a>. The <a href=\"https:\/\/info.unmc.edu\/wiki\/index.php\/NU_Values_-_Online_Performance_Evaluation\">NU Values Online Performance Evaluation<\/a> provides guidelines for administrators, employees and evaluators (supervisors).  <\/p>\n<p>In addition, this page provides a sample <a href=\"http:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/hr\/perf_eval\/Online%20Performance%20Evaluation%20with%20Management%20Values.pdf\">online performance evaluation<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/hr\/perf_eval\/Performance_Evaluation_ITEACH_Values.pdf\">performance evaluations core values<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/hr\/perf_eval\/Annual%20Performance%20Evaluation%20Guidelines.pdf\">annual performance appraisal guidelines<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The UNMC Department of Human Resources has teamed with ITS to enhance the online staff performance evaluations in <a href=\"https:\/\/edge.unmc.edu\/adis\/\">ADIS<\/a>. The enhancements include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Incorporation of ITEACH values and mission statement.\n<li>Screen view and overall user experience.\n<li>Rating entry &#8212; rather than a sliding scale, the user may enter a rating from 0 to 5.\n<li>Performance evaluation administration &#8212; added employee hire date, title and appointment type.\n<li>Staff performance evaluations reports.<\/ul>\n<p>Employees whose performance evaluation was completed in ADIS last year may access their evaluation in ADIS by clicking &#8220;My Evaluations&#8221;  tab and then clicking the evaluation PDF icon.<\/p>\n<p>Managers and supervisors who completed employee evaluations last year in ADIS may access performance evaluations in ADIS by clicking &#8220;Personnel Records,&#8221; then clicking &#8220;Staff Evaluation Status&#8221; and selecting past evaluation fiscal year &#8220;2015.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A forum to review performance evaluation guidelines and system updates is scheduled for 11 a.m. to noon Friday at the Maurer Center for Public Health.
