He is particularly interested in pediatric populations with disruptive mood and behavior disorders. <\/p>\n<p>Dr. Hwang also is a neuroscience researcher specializing in neuro-image and clinical trials. He is a member of the Institutional Review Board at UNMC. His clinical research collaborators have included researchers from: Boys Town National Research Hospital, the Department of Education in South Korea, the University of California San Francisco, and the National Institute of Mental Health, a division of the National Institutes of Health.<\/p>\n<p>Science Cafes involve a face-to-face conversation with a scientist about current science topics. They are open to everyone (21 and older) and take place in casual settings like pubs and coffeehouses. Each meeting is organized around an interesting topic of conversation. A scientist gives a brief presentation followed by a Q-and-A period.<\/p>\n<p>Pizza will be provided for the first 50 people.
