highlight Enhanced Medical Education Tracks"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"panel body-content\"><div class=\"panel__container\"><p>Students from the UNMC College of Medicine&#8217;s Enhanced Medical Education Tracks program will unveil their poster projects on March 16 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Truhlsen Events Center.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Enhanced Medical Education Tracks offer medical students an opportunity to perform in-depth study of an interdisciplinary field of medicine that enhances the required curriculum without extending the time needed to graduate from medical school,&#8221; said Gary Beck Dallaghan, Ph.D., assistant dean for medical education and director of the UNMC Office of Medical Education.  <\/p>\n<p>Students, who begin working in their track during the second semester of their first year, have worked closely with faculty mentors, residents and advanced students on their projects, Dr. Beck Dallaghan said, and the resulting work is exciting.  <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This poster reception is the culmination of some of the work they have done over the past four years, and I think the health care professionals and other staff members on campus will find it fascinating,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>The students who will be presenting this year include:<\/p>\n<p><b>Aging and Integrated Medicine<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Brett Grieb\n<li>Jacob
