At these clinics, students work with physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, medical laboratory technicians and others to provide care to patients in need.<\/p>\n<p>There are multiple clinics underneath the SHARING Clinic umbrella: SHARING, RESPECT, GOODLIFE and VISION.<br \/>\n<UL><br \/>\n<LI>The SHARING Clinic provides primary care to patients every Tuesday from 5:30-7 p.m.<br \/>\n<LI>The RESPECT Clinic provides testing for sexually transmitted infections (STI), treatment and preventive counseling and education for patients every Monday from 5:30-7 p.m.<br \/>\n<LI>The GOODLIFE Clinic provides care to patients living with type 2 diabetes the second Wednesday of every month from 5:30-7 p.m.<br \/>\n<LI>The VISION Clinic provides ophthalmology services and diabetic eye screenings to patients referred from the SHARING and GOODLIFE clinics on the first Friday of every month from 1-3:30 p.m.<\/UL><\/p>\n<p>SHARING Clinics provide an excellent opportunity for UNMC faculty to provide one-on-one teaching experiences with students from multiple disciplines and give back to the community they live in.<br \/>\n<a
