Practicing internal medicine also gives me the opportunity and privilege to help my patients and their families navigate through what are often scary and difficult hospitalizations, and it gives me great joy to make these scary situations more comfortable. <\/p>\n<p><b>Degrees:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>M.D., UNMC.\n<li>Residency, internal medicine-pediatrics, UNMC<\/ul>\n<p><b>Memberships:<\/b> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>American College of Physicians\n<li>American Medical Association\n<li>American Medical Women&#8217;s Association\n<li>American Academy of Pediatrics\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Three things people may not know about me:<\/b> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I&#8217;m a huge fan of the show &#8220;The Office&#8221; &#8212; I dare anyone to challenge me in trivia!\n<li>If I wasn&#8217;t a physician, I would be a veterinarian.\n<li>I&#8217;m a Minnesota Vikings fan.
